East Texas Seals is a large supplier of Desiccants and other absorbing products. We stock a wide variety of clay desiccant and silica gel available in brown kraft bags, non-woven sewn bags and tyvek bags. From pharmaceutical grades of silica gel and military grades to commercial grades of clay moisture absorbing compounds. Desiccants are chemically inert, non toxic, odorless and non-corrosive. Montmorillonite Clay-is a natural occurring absorbent. Clay is inexpensive, non-hazardous and highly effective within normal temperature and relative humidity ranges. The clay absorbs about 25-26% of its weight at 80% RH. Call or email for more information.

Silica Gel-is a form of silica manufactured from sodium silicate and sulfuric acid. Silica Gel is also non-hazardous and is capable of absorbing 40% of its weight in water vapor at 100% humidity. Cargo DryPak-is a specially formulated desiccant product designed to lower the dew point inside shipping and storage containers. By lowering the dew point, Cargo DryPak protects cargo from moisture damage while goods are in transport. Available in 500 gram or 1,500 gram. Cargo DryPak prevents the formation of mold, mildew, rust and corrosion. Also absorbs up to 100% of its weight in moisture while providing 50 days or more of moisture protection while on a ship, truck, rail or airplane in shipping containers.
